Monitoring Energy with Alitvar ATV212 Modbus

Hi,

We are trying to get the Consumption of several AHUs by the Altivar212.

As it is written in the documentation, the energy and power should be accessible with theses modbus addresses :

Input power        (FE29)   65065   16#FE29   0.01 kW Value before trip
Output power     (FE30)   65072   16#FE30   0.01 kW Value before trip
Input energy       (FE76)   65142   16#FE76   1 Wh -
Output energys  (FE77)   65143   16#FE77   1 Wh -

When we read the register 65142 in 16 Unsigned format, we get the Energy in 10kWh scale.

It is not accurate enough for our application.

The Alitvar seems to be properly configured so we have no idea why it is not like in the documentation (In Wh).

Here is why we think Input energy is in 10kWh scale:

We Compared the actual consumption as input power (that seems correct in scale 0.01kW) with the total incrementation of the Input energy and that doesn't seems to fit.
We have an actual consumption like 4kW during 8 hours + 2,8kWh during 8 hours (2,8kWh*8 +  4kWh*8 = 62,4 kWh) and the Input energy increase only by 6 unit.

Does someone know why we get 10kWh scale? Is there a way to get a different scale like in the documetation (1Wh)?

Thanks

You should be able to physically read the "Total accumulated motor power in kW" using the guidance from here:

https://www.se.com/ww/en/faqs/FA293692/

This is likely to be more accurate that assumptions from operational usage.

My expectation is that the value read via fieldbus and this displayed value would be in alignment (however often there are a large number of such totaliser values, some resettable, others not, and not all are presented in both interfaces).. so YMMV
