Mail sending from CitectSCADA

Tried to send email from CitectSCADA via MailLogon, MailSend and MailLogoff functions, but it isn't working. Are there any special requirements for this? Do I need to specially configure Microsoft Outlook? Could you please make an advice?

I had same issue. Got error code 276. Looks like no privilege to open outlook from Correct. Anything setting need to change in outlook?

Just found need setup citect to allow exec to true to allow open outlook

Hello

Two things.

1- Everyone of this functions have a return value. With this you can do a troubleshooting.

2- Remember that Citect/Plant SCADA is working with 32bits process, and then .... It is advisable to always work with 32-bit programs. If you have the option of installing it in 32-bit, it's the better.

For example, Thunderbird has a 32-bit version, if you don't install that version, sending emails doesn't work.
