Hello everyone.
I´m in the buisness of building smaller liftingtools and in charge of the electrical part.
I am familiar with using the Siemens Logo on my builds but now i´m going to switch over to the Schneider world.
So to my question:
What is the maximum support for I/O´s on the M221 and are there any restricitons in the software Ecostruxure Machine Expert - Basic?
Can i use the M221 for an application with 30 inputs and 20 outputs there all of them are digital?
Can´t find any information about this anywhere.
/thanks in advance

You could find here the Modicon PLC configurator.
You could create with the configurator every possible configuration.
The limitation is that you could add up to 7 I/O expansion on one PLC. And with an externder Modul additional 7 pieces. If you need more you could also add TM3 Bus coupler.
As example you could use this configuration
