ION9200 not showing total KW,KVA,KVAR on display

Dear Team,

We have a problem in ION9200. Which is not showing Total KW,KVA,KVAR values on display. Meter is showing  all readings in Ion software and in modscan.

  1. Connect meter with ion enterprise and checked all basic settings- found ok.
  2. Inverse the current direction through ion setup to correct KW polarity.
  3. Upgrade the firmware to 4.0
  4. PQ meter Model: METSEIN92030
  5. PQ Meter serial number: MZ-2301A659-01

Meter is showing  all readings in Ion software and in modscan . screen shot attached. Meter is showing individual phase KW,KVA, KVAr readings but not showing total KW, KVA, KVar on its display. Video attached.

please help on the topic.

I believe you are mistaken about all readings showing correctly in Modscan (Modbus)
The phase A power reads as expected: -1.30e7 Watts (-13.0 MW), but total power reads -23.5 Watts (-0.000023 MW)
I suspect you've made a logic or scaling change somewhere in the framework between the Power Meter module (read by ION Setup's realtime screen) and the Data Mapping Module (used by Modbus, Display, and Web pages)
Please attach the framework that is on the meter (DCF or FWN file) using ION Setup's "Save to PC" or Select All and save to file with Designer

ION Setup real-time screen is presently designed to show Uncompensated power readings so if Transformer Losses is enabled, this would explain the difference between ION Setup and what is being read via Modbus/Front panel display.

Hello @Chiragshah ,

Hard to say exactly what is happening from the images and screenshots alone. In ION Setup it is possible to view advanced mode (hold Ctrl and click on meter in left panel, same process to reverse). In Advanced mode, navigate to the Data mapping Measurement Module. Here you can see what is linked to the inputs, as well as read a snapshot of real time data. Find the kW, kVAR, kVA total inputs and confirm what you see on display matches what you see in ION Setup. If you righ click on the input you have the option to go to the register where this is coming from.

Using the above method you might be able to trace back through template to determine what is happening.

Otherwise recommend contacting your local technical support to start a case.

Regards,

Charles

It appears you have "Scale Revenue Parameters" set to OFF in your meter configuration. Please use ION Setup to update the configuration as shown below
