I am trying to access the web server of a ConneXium switch (TCSESM083F2CS0) using Internet Explorer on a laptop running Windows 10 build V20H2 (OS Build 19042.804). After connection to the switch the following error message occurs: ClassNotFoundException com_schneider_electric.products.Applet. The laptop has the 32 bit version of Java 8 Update 291 installed.
Any ideas appreciated.

I did this somewhat recently. I had similar issues. What I had to do to get it working was use Internet Explorer 11 with Java v8 runtime 281. This was also all inside of a WIN7 VM.
The good news is that all of the new Modicon switches are configured via HTML5 instead of Java.

Thanks for the quick response @Alpenglow. All I needed to do was download and install the 32 bit version of JRE 8 281 and problem solved!

Thanks for this solution. This exact combination works whereas many other combinations of Windows/ IE and Java versions that I had tried beforehand didn't. This setup also works with Advantys STB which has similar issues.
