I'm having a lot of trouble trying to uninstall this version of EcoStruxure Machine Expert. I tried uninstalling, then repairing and uninstalling, then reinstalling and uninstalling all to no avail. I posted some of the relevant screenshots but please let me know if you have any ideas. Or worst case what I can do to properly uninstall.
I should mention the reason I wanted to uninstall is because I am trying to use an older version of SoMachine V4.2 in order to connect to a M258 controller. And when I try to run that I get a message that I need to uninstall newer versions if I want to install that.
Thanks for your time,
Tyler

I already had to uninstall ME2.0 to be able to install SoMa4.3 without error, and I had no problem uninstalling.
One of the images you posted concerns the antivirus. Disable your antivirus and try again. You can also try some uninstallation software like RevoUninstaller.

Hello Tyler,
Let me suggest a known and good solution to my opinion and experience. Use separate virtual machines for each software version. No need to install and then uninstall stuff, easy to back up by simply keeping a copy of each virtual environment. This also keeps you PC cleaner as each installation adds complexity to the registry database. Now that Vmware Workstation Pro 17 is free and requires no license makes it even easier. If you still want to uninstall your ME Version 2.2 you should do it with the software installer application with which you use for the installation process.
Best Regards.
