There are several different types of temperature sensors listed on the hardware guide for TM172.
Two questions:
1) what is the criteria to select NTC or PT1000 ? Range is the same for both types.
2) depending on the beta values, the input configuration should be selected accordingly. I have not been able to find which beta value corresponds to the TM1ST sensors (I have used Cfg_Aix = 0 before). Is that ok ?

Hello,
NTC sensors listed at the moment in the TM171 catalogue are all with Beta 3435, the right setting of CFG_Aix is 2.
The selection between PT1000 and NTC is usually is usually driven by the customer, in terms of PT1000 it's also easier to use third party PT1000. In the range of NTC, M172 can provide a better accuracy.
