SCADAPack Ethernet/IP Support

The implementation and support of Ethernet/IP would be a great add on protocol for the SCADAPack 47x and 57x. This will allow for a great range of products supported where the client has an existing standard in place. This again ties in with DTM's where an EDS can easily be loaded and a DDT automatically created for integration.

@StevenE The DF1 protocol is really quite different than Ethernet/IP CIP, even though it is possible to channel DF1 through a CIP connection (this is known as PCCC).

I think any Ethernet/IP CIP implementation would be more connected to the M580 type of connection (especially given the M580 and X70 device share a common logic virtual machine, and likely low level OS topology, so could share this functionality with reasonable ease).

I'm not sure that much would be gained in supporting DF1 however, since modern devices don't tend to use it any more.  The MicroLogix 1xxx isn't really a mainstream supported product from Rockwell any longer, and the MicroLogix 8xx series favour ModbusTCP (which is already supported by the X70s).

I'd say Profinet support, and OPC UA server (not client) should have higher priority over DF1.

For sites that currently have MicroLogix 1xxx series, the obvious solution would be to replace these controllers with SCADAPack x70s.
Those that currently use PLC2/PLC5/SLCs should migrate to either CompactLogix or ControlLogix (where ModbusTCP using AOIs can be used).
