I was doing some testing with dynacard data being imported from a 3rd party OPC server last week and realized that although we can read in OPC array points, we have to specify each individual array element. It appears to me that Geo SCADA is capable of reading the array item but is not capable of storing the full array value. In my situation there is an OPC item that is read as an array of integers or an array of single precision floats that would span from 1-300 elements in a 1 dimensional array. Rather than just reading back the array, I believe I'd need to add each individual element as a separate point which is just not feasible.
It would greatly simplify the workflow if we were able to just read the array as one giant value then parse it in ST to perform the work necessary. The process as it stands now has been integrated with a CSV being read in via VB script that's called from a system command on a trigger and it seems to work, but I do feel like there are other possible use cases for just holding the full array element. I wouldn't expect this array element to be stored in history in any way, but at a minimum have the standard current value/time/previous value/time etc.
