User Logon Events after Server Restart

When the ClearSCADA server is restarted, a number of events may be logged in the event list stating that users have logged onto the system almost immediately. This is the result of a number of users being logged onto the system when the server was shut down. When the server is restarted, those sessions will be re-established if the inactivity timers have not yet expired on those login sessions.

To determine the locations of the users being logged in, examine the Server Clients tab of the Server Status dialog. This dialog will display the IP addresses of the ViewX nodes that have reconnected to the server. The event list from the server could also be configured to display the IP address from where the logon request originated, as well as the resolved node name of the PC.
