📖HomeBack As part of our on-going product enhancement program, we have announced the release of ClearSCADA 2010 R3.2, a service pack for ClearSCADA 2010 R3 providing feature enhancements and improvements to existing functionality. It is recommended that all users of ClearSCADA 2010 R3 install this build.
This release of ClearSCADA contains a number of product enhancements and fixes, including:
Enabled alarm bell for alarm list windows outside the alarm banner.
Introduced additional filter indicator for alarm banner and made both indicators configurable, allowing users to see if the banner is filtered, has had its filter modified, or both, or neither.
Added extended database lock diagnostics.
Updated the SAP Crystal Reports runtime for .NET Framework 4 to support pack 10.
Updated Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 redistributables from version 10.0.40219.1 to version 10.0.40219.325.
Updated Signing Algorithm for Self-Signed Certificates
Self-signed certificates generated by ClearSCADA have been updated to use SHA1 signing algorithm instead of MD5, and key generation now defaults to 2048 bits.
Existing ClearSCADA customers using self-signed certificates are recommended to generate a new certificate after installing this Service Pack to utilize the updated signing algorithm. Schneider Electric recommends that all customers should obtain a signed web certificate from a certified authority before deploying ClearSCADA Web Server in a production environment.
Diagnostics Information Removed from WebX
ClearSCADA Server diagnostics information has been removed from the WebX interface to increase overall system security. This server diagnostics information is still available via the ClearSCADA Server Status utility and is exposed by the ClearSCADA OPC-DA Server for external password-controlled access.
Please read the detailed Release Notes for a complete list of changes made in this version of ClearSCADA.
Customers with licenses for ClearSCADA 2010 R3 do not require an updated license file to run ClearSCADA 2010 R3.2. Customers with licenses for ClearSCADA versions prior to 2010 R3 who wish to upgrade to ClearSCADA 2010 R3.2 will need to update both their client and server license(s).
