As part of our ongoing product enhancement program, Control Microsystems has announced the release of ClearSCADA 2009 R1.3, a service pack for ClearSCADA 2009 R1 providing feature enhancements and improvements to existing functionality. It is recommended that all users of ClearSCADA 2009 R1 install this build.
This release of ClearSCADA contains a number of product enhancements, including:

Customers with licenses for ClearSCADA 2009 R1 (includes R1.1 and R1.2) do not require an updated license file to run ClearSCADA 2009 R1.3. Customers with licenses for ClearSCADA versions prior to 2009 R1 who wish to upgrade to ClearSCADA 2009 R1.3 will need to update both their client and server license(s).

It is recommended that all users of ClearSCADA 2009 R1 install this build.
Product Changes
This release of ClearSCADA contains a number of product enhancements, including:
- Improvements to security
- New historic options to determine the type of data being logged and a multiplier to calculate aggregates on any required timebase
- Additional logic program configuration options
- Improved algorithm for selecting best available PSTN channel for outgoing communications
- Performance improvements in memory handling and system logging
- Numerous fixes and improvements to DNP3 and SCADAPack Modbus drivers

Licenses
Customers with licenses for ClearSCADA 2009 R1 (includes R1.1 and R1.2) do not require an updated license file to run ClearSCADA 2009 R1.3. Customers with licenses for ClearSCADA versions prior to 2009 R1 who wish to upgrade to ClearSCADA 2009 R1.3 will need to update both their client and server license(s).
Note: License updates are free of charge with a valid SCADACare support agreement with Control Microsystems.
