The Com'x allows publishing at 1 hour interval. The competition goes to 1 minute. Any chance the Com'X will adapt soon?

Hi Rich,
Publication intervals as fast as every minute is not currently on the roadmap. Do you have any more information on your specific application that I can pass along to our offer management team for consideration?
Best Regards,
Colton

We had the same requirement with our project. We needed to send data at least every 15 mins because factory engineers needed to analyse data in 15 minutes after shift finished their work and they have information on tons of product delivered.
We ended up by direct polling of meters by PME which was not the best option though. Anyway we'd love to see that option in the future as it might save a lot of time and make overall system more stable.

Hi Pavel,
How much information is the user looking to export every 15 minutes?

Colton

Hi Colton!
Not much I believe, generally it is only Active Energy Delivered from up to 15 meters connected to one COMX 510.
Sometimes there are a pair of flow-meters with 2-3 parameters. Record intervals are 5 minutes.

Hi Pavel,
We do have an option on the ComX210 (not the 510!) for "WeatherSentry". This doesn't exist on the ComX510 since this operation is more resource intensive and the 510 is already running more applications. This will set the data to be published 5 every minutes.
Does this help?
Best,
Colton

Hi Colton,
This strange not to have this option in 510 and having it on 210. This doesn't help because we have only COMX510 installed on every fabric of our customer. By the way we use COMX510 only as a gateway reading modbus registers with PME so it seems logical to be able to turn off unnecassary options in COMX510 to unload it from unused tasks and for example let it send CSV files more often. What do you think?

Colton,
It's been a while but coming back to this topic and to answer your question.. you should look at the data sheet ....http://www.obvius.com/sites/obvius.com/files/Datasheet_A8810_EMB_1.pdf
We have a number of customer that use this product and the Comx510 is not competitive on the spec. Don't know the capacity/data limit but there are multiple meters all connected to a single device pushing data as fast as 1 minute without issue. Usual interval is 15 minute as mentioned by others but 5 is also required in some cases. We would want to send more than just energy (kwh) and include voltage/current/pf...
