COMX'510 Version 3.0.7 Historical Data Export error

Dear Support,

We are facing error on comx510 for historical data export. iEM3455 powers are connected to comx510 via modbus. I have selected topics of IEM3455 to be logged and published csv files.

1. Default selected topics on iEM3455 power meter are as follows:

1.jpg

2. We have to change/select the topics to be logged and published as per client request as shown below:

2.jpg

3. After restarting the Com’x510 to take effect the new settings, we found out that the unselected parameters or topics in the new template which was originally selected in the original template are still shown on the Historical Data export window as shown below.

Why these are still there when it was already unselected as shown in item 2 above?

3.jpg

4. We tried to exclude it in the historical data export as shown in item 3 above. In the exported data in csv file as shown below, the new parameters which were added such as Current, Voltage & Power are not available in the exported csv file as shown below. It only shows the original topics or parameters.

4.jpg

If these are not appearing in the local historical data export, then for sure it will be the same output on manual or Periodic data publication to FTP server. In the old firmware version of Comx510 this historical data export option was not available and just added on version 3.0.7. Please advise what went wrong on this historical data export and we need urgent solution as the project is ongoing. Thanks

Hi Rolindo,

I hope you are doing well. This looks like it could be a bit complicated to solve quickly, can you submit a case to bFO and provide me the case number while I look into this? To answer a couple of your questions:

  1. Per point (C): These topics are shown in "Available Topics" even after you have deselected them if there is any logged data for these topics (even if it is old data, as some users may want to extract old data they are no longer collecting).
  2. Per point (D): This will need to be investigated in more detail with the bFO case. In the meantime could you replicate this again, then provide me with the diagnostic logs (Go to Maintenance Tab -> Logs -> Get Diagnostic Logs).
  3. Even though the desired topics are not appearing in historical data export, this does not mean for sure that it will be the same during manual or periodic data publication. The Historical Data Export page uses a different mechanic to extract the data. Please attempt a manual or periodic publication and see if this issue persists.

Hopefully I have started to answer some of your questions,

Colton Peltier

Dear Colton,

Thanks a lot for that reply. Actually, I did a lot of exercises and I

found that whenever you will select new topics or new parameters to be

logged and published from the existing selected topics, there's a little

delay before it will appear in the Historical Data Report Page in

Comx'510. However, interesting to note that it appear immediately on the

Historical Trending page. And whenever you want to download a new or

updated csv file, the csv files will be created without that newly added

topics. I waited for another day, and it finally appear in the csv files

generated in the following day.

Find attached diagnostics info I've generated from comx510. In this

example I tried to add Meter serial No. as a new topic. The Meter serial

No topic did not appear on the csv files created for an hour already until

I send this email to you, although it is showing correctly on the com'x510

measurement table page.

Below are the real-time reading on comx510 and meter SN is getting reading

correctly.

Hi Rolindo,

Since we now have an email correspondence about this topic I propose we abandon using the exchange forum to discuss this. That way we can keep all of our responses in one place.

Best Regards,

Colton Peltier

Hi Colton,

Is the waiting for another day the only solution for this issue?

Best regards,

Bojan
