REST API with PAS

Hi all, 

First of all is compatibility with (REST) API available for Panelserver? Second will there be a similar document as the COMX510 describing the request / access and such? See document

Hi @Jun_Escano ,

there is no such feature available on Panel Server.

Also, to my knowledge, the API on the Com'X was used only to retrieve the measurement on Custom Webpages that could be created on Com'X webserver. I'm not sure they could be used to share the data with external systems. (Maybe someone can confirm this?)

Hi All,

The API documented in the attachment was created to enable the custom webpages feature in Com'X.  This is why the document doesn't cover authentication.  

Even though it was not originally intended (or prohibited), there are some applications that are using the Com'X API remotely.  This was not so difficult given available documentation and observing the web application behavior as a reference.

I would suggest caution taking a similar approach with existing API in the panel server.  The API could change in future versions.
