Hello,
These multi-metering products are mainly installed in data centers. For this segment, the typical architecture is mainly connected product + gateway + on-premise software (ESX PO or ESX PME)
For this type of architecture, it is possible to use a panel Server because the gateway acts as a transparent gateway and will transmit bidirectional modbus traffic between PO/PME and the HDPM6000/BCPM. A model is therefore not necessary for this architecture. For this reason, there are no plans to develop a native model of HDPM6000/BCPM in Panel Server.
When a product is defined as a supported product in the release note, it means that there is a native model for this product embedded in the firmware. This model will manage the collection of the product mesurements (List of measurements + sampling period) for publication in the cloud for SE advisors (FE, EEH, RA, AA) or for local storage in case of PAS800 used as an Local Energy Server (LES).
Moreover If a native model is not available in the PaS for these type of architecture, it is possible to develop a custom model on a dedicated web portal (reserved as of today for SE internal people during the hardening phase)

Ressource Advisor has requested a model for BCPM/HDPM6000. I checked in Commissioning Web Portal and could find the 2 models, for BCPM it is labelled as "test" but do not know if it is working and for HDPM there is also a model with only 2 readings.

The HDPM6000 is NOT supported with the default library and there are no drivers tested for this with RA in EPC-Web (CWP has been renamed as EPC-Web).
This has been requested as part of an RA project for NAM, however, the HDPM has nearly 200 registers and requires the ability to be able to group the circuits on the PAS into a virtual meter or allow the 192 channels to be passed through to RA and this functionality is not present today on the PAS.
A custom model can be created if it is requested as part of a project but a custom model will also not have any ability to create virtual meters from a single HDPM6000 within the custom driver. As per the RA workflow each custom model will need to be defined and requested as part of the RA project.

Very informative reply, thanks Thierry! One followup question. I assume transparent pass-through on PAS work over wifi connectivity? i.e., HDPM6000 -> PAS -> (PME or EPO) via wifi will also work. Can you confirm that it is irrelevant whether the connection of the PAS to LAN is wired or wireless? Thanks!

Hi @ram_kaushik
Absolutelly. connection between Panel Server and PME can be WI-Fi or wired (ethernet RJ45 cable)
- For wired connection: use port ETH1 (No ethernet gateway parameter for Gateway for ETH2)
- For Wi-Fi connection : External antenna PASA-ANT1 mandatory when Panel Server mounted in metalic enclosure /highly recommended when Panel Server is mounted in plastic enclosure

hello @Thierry_Baudard , is the modbus server enabled by default when using Wifi to connect to upstream system ?
Thanking in advance,

As mentionned in previous post from @Guillaume_Evrard,
Modbus TCP server features must be activated on interfaces (ETH1,ETH2, Wi-Fi) if a modbus TCP/IP client need to collect data through modbus in the Panel Server.
This setting is in Settings>Network Communication>Services.
For a Panel Server with Firmware 1.7 in Factory settings :
ETH1 and ETH2 are in switched mode with modbus TCP/IP server enabled by default.
WI-Fi is disabled by default. After WiFi activation by user, Modbus server is also disabled by default.
