PAS: iEM3xxx Measurement Naming inconsistency
Hello,
This is a little 'watch out' warning for the community when using the Panel Servers to log Active Energy Delivered. From our experience, it appears that in the PAS, the iEM3xxx meters have inconsistence measurement naming when compared to the PM5xxx range and compared to PME. Below are our observations of measurements of PAS devices and PME devices:
PAS PM5310:
Active energy delivered = Active Energy Delivered
(This is normal and correct)
PAS iEM3xxx:
Active Energy Delivered = Active Energy Delivered Since Last Reset
Active Energy Delivered non resettable = Active Energy Delivered
(Swapped and inconsistent naming)
Compared to PME naming:
PME iEM3xxx & PM5310:
Active Energy Delivered = Active Energy Delivered
Active Energy Delivered Since Last Rest = Active Energy Delivered Since Last Reset
Basically, the iEM3xxx Active Energy Delivered measurement has been swapped around on the PAS when compared to its PM5xxx devices and PME.
Warning: If you use ETL or other methods of back filling the database for PAS Active Energy Delivered on the PME Active Energy Delivered, it will be incorrect if the meter reset was pressed.
I can see the logic behind the PAS iEM3xxx naming, but it is not consistent with its naming in the PM5xxx and other Schneider products.
