Hi,
A Com'x 510 firmware upgrade may take place. The device is configured with data logging.
Questions:
1. Can firmware upgrades delete data or configurations?
2. Can a ComX510 "save the configuration"/"backup for duplication" file saved with an earlier version of firmware be reliably be used on Com'X510s with later version firmware.
The firmware upgrade may/will be attempted because an old Com'X510 with 3.0.7 firmware connects over FTP but doesn't attempt to send files - refer attached. (i.e. files with device name are not sent)

Hi,
Upgrading the firmware on a Com'X does not change or delete the configuration of the device.
The "Save the Configuration" and "Backup for Duplication" have different functionality. The "Backup for Duplication" is meant to duplication the configuration of a Com'X and put that configuration on a different Com'X with the same firmware version. The "Save the Configuration" is meant to save the configuration of a Com'X to put back on that same Com'X with, possibly, a different firmware version.
I hope this helps.
