Is there any passive antenna alternative for the ZBRN1?
I have a client who requires a longer passive antenna cable; the ZBRA2 cable is only 2 meters long. Is it possible to make an adjustment that won't affect performance? Or is there a workable alternative with a longer cable?
Even if it is not the right channel, there is only one antenna for ZBRN (ZBRA2). Connector is specific and the attenuation of the cable at 2,4GHz is high, typically there is no gain with ZBRA2 as the dipole gain is completely lost by the cable attenuation. Only value for ZBRA2 is to allow the antenna to be installed outside of a metallic cabinet. You can buy custom antenna but pay attention to the system RF budget.
