In the datasheet of Link150(EGX150), it states that its max number of connected devices are: 32(directly) and 247(indirectly). My questions are:
(1) What does it mean 'indirectly'?
(2) To use its maximum connected number (247 devices), which additional equipment is needed to be used?

Hi,
I am not an expert on the EGX150. However, Indirect Connections are those that connect the EGX150 to the device via an Ethernet connection. The downstream device may be connected to another gateway, or may be a standalone Modbus TCP/IP device.
I hope this answers your questions.
