Hi colleagues!
What can be done with EcoStruxure Power Commission when configuring and commission a PAS600 that gathers data from Power Meters (PM5560)?
Thanks,

Configuration of PAS600 does not change in EPC according to the type of downstream Modbus SL connected products (PM5560 or other type)
you will be able to configure paremeters such as Ethernet parameter/modbus serial line parameters (just some examples but not the exhaustive list!)
Please refer to EPC on line help for more information about this.

Hello @RogelioHdezD ,
Can you precise your need ?
As mentioned by Thierry, if you want to commission the Panel Server + PM5560, your experience will change depending on the tool.
With PAS web pages, you can set up data sampling for your PM5560. With EPC: you can't. Same remark for the PM5560 alarms pushed by the Panel Server.
Web pages allow you to change the Virtual ID of you PM5560. EPC cannot change the Virtual ID attributed by the Panel Server.
To full commission the PM5560, you will need ION Setup. PM5560 web pages can also be used but ION Setup have more advanced settings for PM.

Hi!
The specific need is to configure the PAS600 (Ethernet interface parameters, serial interface parameters, and slave devices). All of that can be done either with ECP or using the web page? I am assuming that power meters would be configured with ION Setup. Thanks!

Hello @RogelioHdezD ,
Answer is yes.
You must switch EPC in "COMMUNICATION VIEW" -> select your Panel Server (click the gear wheel).
You will access to :
Slave devices are normally auto detected by the PAS600 during Modbus Device discovery. But if you change the Slave ID on your serial device, you can update the Slave ID with EPC (not in the Communication View but by selecting directly the slave device on the left pane of EPC).
Let me know if it helps.
