EIFEs are connected to PME but the data is not logged in the database
Hello everyone,
We have connected several EIFEs in daisychain on a TCP network. All the EIFEs are configured in a similar way and we can ping each of them from the application server.
We have a tool (PMCModbus) that lets us know which modbus elements are connected behind an IP gateway. Here too, everything seems to be communicating perfectly on Port 502.
Since Vista, real-time data is not available and historical values are not logged in the database. Only on one gateway in the chain is the data available and logged.
Do you have any idea why data from only one gateway is logged?
Thank you for your help.
Jimmy

Hello @JimmyFSA ,
Better check this topic with the tech support. Please include a PME Diagnostic file (this will include devices communication status).
Many questions for you:
- What is your version of PME ?
- What is the Firmware of your EIFEs ?
- What is the position of the working IFE in the chain ?
- Can you see all your MTZ with EPC installed on the PME server ?
- What is the cradle position of your MTZ ?
- Did you check the devices status with the PME Diagnostic Viewer ?
- Below example of a MTZ communicating correctly with PME

Hello @JimmyFSA ,
The diagnostic file must be investigated through a tech support ticket:
https://www.se.com/ch/fr/work/support/customer-care/contact-schneider-electric.jsp
It seems that PME can only read Serial Number and FW version for 30Q1 and 20Q0 MTZ.
Tech support should discover why only 2 breakers are communicating with PME, especially if you can ping all the chain and communicate through Modbus TCP.
