Hi All,
Would like to know if Panel server SFTP publication has a data backfill function?
For example, if my SFTP server is down or the connection is disrupted, and my SFTP server loses data from PAS. Wondering if PAS will re-publish the data for that specific period or any way we can retrieve the data for that specific period.
Thanks

Hi @Stuart_Cheng ,
For Panel Server Entry and Universal (PAS400 and PAS600), you can buffer 1 month of data. Data successfully published are deleted from the buffer. If your data cannot be published due to SFTP connection issue, data will be retain in the limit of the buffer.
For Panel Server Advanced (PAS800) you can buffer 3 months of data before publication. Be careful, for PAS800 you need to differentiate de publication buffer (3 months) from the global data log (3 years). It means data log can retain data for 3 years for use with with PAS800 Web interface. But only 3 months of the most recent data can be published. If you have connection loss during 4 months with your SFTP server, only the 3 latest months can be published => 1 month of data will not be published (but locally available on the PAS800 log).

Hi @Romain_Polette,
Many thanks for your information. Very helpful!
May I confirm with you if the data in the buffer will be automatically published again after SFTP connection is back or maybe be included in the next publication? Thanks
