Datalog files are sent in Chinese instead of English

We have notified a weird issue in one of our REM EGX300. The Datalog files are sent in Chinese instead of English.

I guess someone unaware changed a special setting in EGX300. Unfortunately I don't know how to recover the description setting in English. Who can do me a favor?

Hello Quan,

Log into your EGX300 as an Administrator and change the language setting to English:

1. Click on Setup

2. Click User Accounts

3. Change the Language for the Administrator user account

Thanks for your answer! It means that Datalog should be recorded into files with Admininistrator Language setting. Also I need to create a specific account which will be used by local maintance engineers. The admininstrator account might be hidden.

Actually, there's an easier way that will avoid you to have to create different accounts. There's an hidden page that will allow you to set the export language to English. Just go to HTTP://<IP_Address>/evo_compatibility.shtml

Just check the box "Always Export in English".

Boom, you're done! 🙂
