Custom Devices in Com'X 510
We were able to create an Enercept Custom Device in our lab's Com'X 510 that works locally as a data server and also pushes data to Facilities Insights.
Our Enercept meters are all on an EGX 300 that also can display data. Being that the meters are Enercept and PM5000 devices the data load on the RS485 is manageable at 21 devices.
With this we are able to see live data and trends. The values that worked best are in the register range that includes the 32 bit values. These match the values that we see in PME. They do not show up in the native device monitoring area but at least customer can see live values and display logged historical data.
This line of product can be used to get our feet in the door with customers who are not ready for a PME solution yet allows for a Future Ready system.
Plan to add other Legacy Devices as time allows for testing. Works better than I expected once you get around to where data is displayed and after I figured out the best register to read in the Enercept meters.
