Com´X510 with PowerTag Universal

Hi

Regarding PowerTag A9MEM1560 and A9MEM1570 I can´t see is possible to get measurement readings i Com´X510 with latest firmware v 5.2.0.

Gateway is SI-D

Get measurements in SI-D and Ecoreach

This PowerTag A9MEM1560 and A9MEM1570 is not able to select in meny Device Settings-Modbus Serial.

Tryed to use 1520 that is selectable but not able to get measurements readings.

So if not supported in this Firmware version v 5.2.0 will this PowerTags be supported in the next version ?

When is the release date ?

Best Regards

Anders

Hi Anders,

You are correct.  The Com'X does not support the PowerTag 1560 and 1570 with the current released firmware, 5.2.0.

The Com'X will provide support for the PowerTag 1560 and 1570 starting with version 6.0.  I believe this version will be available in a few months.  The code will be "frozen" this week and then it will be subject to regression and system testing.  After these tests are complete, the firmware will be released to the public.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused in the meantime.

Best regards,

Randi

Hi @Randi_Dolan

For information (with v5.2) if I add Powertag 1540 and 1541 directly with Zigbee Dongle :

  • I have the Measurement Table in the Device Settings view for 1540
  • but not for 1541...

Thanks !

Romain

Hi Romain,

Direct support for the PowerTag devices has been postponed in the Com'X.  We currently do not have plans to directly support the PowerTag.  If you are getting readings in the Measurement table, it's just luck 🙂

Best regards,

Randi

Hello Randi,

OK 🙂
FYI my architecture below. As you see, there are some values for Powertag in ndirect Zigbee.

But I cannot have Gauges or Basic values in the Monitoring tab.

ComX510_Direct_Powertag.JPG

Do you plan to integrate the Powertag Link and Powertag Link HD in the FW 6.0 ?

Thanks !

Romain

I have Com'X 510 with ZigBee dongle.

Thanks.

Hello

Com´X510 need to have FW 6.0.4. PowerTag is connected (ZigBee) to SI-D what is communicating with Com´X510. SI-D is a device in Ethernet meny below Device Settings.

Hello @Boris_Horvat

PowerTag Energy Sensors are not directly integrated in the FW 6.0.4.
It means that you cannot connect them to the Zigbee Dongle of the Com'X. You can try : PowerTag will be detected but you will have a lot of inconsistencies on the data displayed by the Com'X interface.

Currently you need to pair your PowerTag Energy Sensor with a gateway like Smartlink SI B, PowerTag Link SD or PowerTag Link HD (Smartlink SI D is not recommended for new business).

After that, you need to :

  1. add the PowerTag Link Gateway as an Ethernet device to your Com'X
  2. discover devices connected to the PowerTag Link (Modbus Protocol - Slave ID from 1 to 100 depending on your PowerTag Link ref).

Regards,

Romain

I thought you connect PowerTag directly to Com'X.

I have also Smartlink gateway and it works.

But I wanted to connect them directly with ZigBee dongle.

What for can I use ZigBee dongle on Com'X?

Hi,

With FW 6.0.4 you can directly connect the CL110 and TH110 Wireless Temperature sensors.

With older FW release you can also connect the EM4300 Energy Meter.
