Hi Team,
Having done another round of testing with the Com'X 510 on Firmware 1.1.44 and I found something pretty interesting,
The custom device library tab, selecting FC04 : Read Input Registers for the Veris CWLP sensor,
The Com'X510 actually calling FC03 : Reading Holding Registers,
as you can see below from the Modscan32 screen capture,
if FC04, read input register is correctly executed, the following should have been displayed,
30001 is the CO2 level in PPM
30002 is the relative humidity in tenth of a %
30003 is the temperature in tenth of a Celcius or Fahrenheit
40001 is the CO2 level which will trigger the on-board relay on the CWLP sensor
40002 is the CO2 level deadband
40003 is the automatic calibration setting (0 = normal, 1= low, 2 = off)
Hence, from this perspective, the FC03 is implemented incorrectly and somehow it is resulting in the Com'X510 reading holding registers instead of the input registers called for.

Hi Kuan,
Sorry for the late replay. This issue appears to happen when a device have shared register numbers between (FC03 & FC04)
This is an issue with the Com'X510 v1.1.44. The development team is currently working on resolving this. I will keep you updated on the status of this issue.

Hi James,
I still encounter a problem with Firmware Version 1.1.45. (also with previous version 1.1.44.)
I want to read a bit in a holding register of a Sepam device.
But I can't create a new device if the Custom Library Model uses 'Boolean'.
I get the message 'The product has not been created'. Still there is no problem with creating the Model itself.
The name of the Model that uses Boolean is SepamBit.
The other Model TestSepam3 does not uses Boolean and with this Model I can create a new device and I'm able to communicate with the Sepam.
On the next four screenshots you'll see the details of the two Models.
Model SEPAMBIT:
Model TESTSEPAM3:
Can you look at this?
Thank you!
Philippe

Hi Philippe,
Can you check that you are using Google Chrome for programming the Com'X? There seems to still be some problems for IE and Firefox doing programming on the Com'X and it will give you the "The product has not been created" problem.
From my end, I verify that the Veris CWLP and HWLP wall mounted sensors can be read properly without issues with the reading extracted from the Input Registers.
Best Regards,
Kuan Khoon

Thanks KK.
Philippe...can you confirm this works for you using Google Chrome browser? As KK mentions, we are aware of some issues using IE and Firefox which our on our roadmap to enhance.

I'll try it this friday. If I remember correctly then I think that I already tried it with IE and Firefox.

Hi Philippe,
Boolean support for custom models is currently broken in the Com'X 510 release. There is no work-around at this time. Effort is being made to have this corrected in v2.1 which is expected to release in November.

Hi Robert Jennings,
OK Thanks!
I did send an email to the client to say that he must have some patience.
Can you confirm that I'll be able to read certain bits from a Sepam Series 40?
So that I understand the boolean function correctly.
Can I for example read bit 0 from the holding register with the address 010B to know the status of input I11?

Is the expected release still in November?
Mid or more end November?

Philippe
