You can see the current readings available on a circuit breaker (Schneider Electric) by adding your device in the PAS config. No need to have a real circuit breaker. Refer to advanced measurements to see all measurements.
Statuses are also available.
Concerning Edge connection, PAS needs to be considered as a modbus gateway and all data should be available for an edge system.

There is no document that would present the datasets read by PAS from devices. However, you can add a “fake” device to you PAS using Manual Discovery - just put whatever in the address field and choose device type you are interested in. You’ll have no communication to the device and no real data, but this will allow you to see what information is available for given device type.
I checked NSX breaker using the approach described above and the status is there:
I suggest you do the same to see what other data is available.

Max 32 IFM connected to the Panel Server (without repeater) is applicable.
IFM voltage drop is related only if you:
You can connect more than 12 IFM is you daisy chain the 24DC to some IFM along the 24DC bus.
If the IFMs are not stacked, you need to power supply them individually.
As you mentioned, we need to be careful with the communication performances of the IFM.
