Hi
I am wondering if there is a way through the Publishing in the Com'x 200 to instead of creating one .CSV file per device to publish to an FTP server, you could create one .CSV file with all the required data from the meters. The project that the devices will be used on will contain a large number of meters so creating reports for all them would prove to be unwieldy for this.
Any help on if this is possible or not would be appreciated.
Thanks
Sean

Hi Sean,
Unfortunately, the Com'X 200 does not have a method to publish all of the device readings in one CSV file. Also, the Com'X200 is no longer in development. So, no changes are being made to this device.

Randi

Just as a follow up to this, would this be possible to achieve on a Com'x 210?

I can put it in as a feature request. 🙂

Thanks for that. How long does it usually take to get feedback on the request

I brought it up in our meeting this morning and it seems highly unlikely that this feature will be implemented, since this device is nearing the end of it's development. However, I've logged it for the offer manager to consider. One "objection" that was raised stemmed around the potential size of this file and that email servers limit the size of attachments. Regardless, it will, at least, be considered at our next increment planning, which is in late March.

Hi
You mentioned that the device is nearing the end of it's development for the Com'x 210. Just for clarification would that mean that the support for the device will be ending or if the device itself is being discontinued and what would be the time frame then for the end of it's development
Thanks
Sean

Support for the Com'X 200/210/510 will continue for several years. However, development on this device is slated to end at the end of 2020.
