Acti9 Smartlink SI D, wireless not possible to activate

Hi all,

I'm having some sudden issues with my Smartlink SI D gateway. Seems like my powertags are offline, and only reports 0 or NaN values. The concentrator/gateway is placed 0,5m away from the powertags, and has been working flawlessly for more then 4years now.

I've tried to add more powertags, just to check if there something wrong with the existing powertags. But when I go to the devices tab, the wireless states its turned off, and when trying to turn on its stuck in a endless loop. So endline is, suddnely wireless/zigbee network is turned off without any possibility to turn back on.

Also tried to upgrade to latest firmware using the ExoStructure Power commission software, and try to activate the wireless through this tool, but still gets an error stating wirless could not be enabled 😕

Could the zigbee radio be defective?

Any ideas?

Hello,

Yes,  you are right. I think that the wireless communication is defective.

To complete your diag, I also assume that the Powertag Energy Sensor flash red to indicate that they are in communication loss.

I advise you to contact your SE local support for creation of a customer support case. 

Note that Smartlink SID is no longer commercialized and replaced by EcoStruxure Panel Server. 

For communication with upper system (BMS, SCADA....) in  modbus TCP-IP, Modbus registers mapping of smartLink SID is similar in EcoStruxure Panel Server to ensure compatibility.
