what about use of single core cables 630 to 1000 sq.mm in ECODIAL for Transformer LV side to Main LV panel which is a prevalent practice in middle east? Currently this feature is not available. Lack of this feature is giving wrong results to us engineers in Gulf. How about adding this feature?

Hi @dkpElect
Thanks for your query.
In the latest International V4.9.5 version. This feature is already added. Now the user will be able to select the required cable cross-sectional area up to 1000sq.mm and Ecodial will be able to size the optimum cable CSA.
Here I attached the screenshot of your reference.
In this example, I have selected 1000sq.mm as the max permissible CSA. The application is proposing the best-suited cable CSA based on the transformer power.
You can download the latest International version by using this link. EcoStruxure Power Design - Ecodial

Noted. Thanks for the update.
However, it is noticed that, for 3x1000 sq.mm as per phase conductor , the PE conductor also is sized as 1000 Sq.mm ( for both TT and TN-S system) whereas standard maximum size normally used is 300 sq.mm. Whether we adopt 50% of phase conductor rule or adiabatic equation, I don't think 1000 sq.mm would be required.
I checked with another similar software from SIEMENS and the result is 300 sq.mm for PE.(see image attached).
Any clarification would be highly appreciated .
Best Regards,
Dinesh
