We are looking into various ways to let users update the Genome Library independent of DCO releases. Whether it will be via the currently disabled feature of downloading from a URL is still undecided, but it is one of the options we are looking into. It is also not set in stone if the ability to update the Genome Library in this way will be released with 8.0.
