monitoring a SDMO generator

Hi,

Is it possible to monitor an SDMO generator (Telys 1 modbus RS485 controller) using an EGX150 gateway with DCE? What else is needed?

Hi Sergio,

That should work...as long as you can properly poll the device via IP when you connect it to the gateway. You also need a DDF or device definition file. If you go to the device support menu, you can search for the specific device. If it's there, click on "I want it too" if not, you can request they create one. I've searched for this and it appears there is an SDMO Telys2 but not a Telys1. You may have to request a new one if the registers are different.
