Hi,
I'm in IT so don't really know what i'm talking about re this electric gear to warn you!
Basically we have an ethernet gateway link 150 meter. with other meters in our business we can get the oid number from the mib library to read the meter using our prtg snmp monitoring software.
Is it possible to get the oid/mib files for a link 150?
If not is the only way to read the power usage to get the v expensive schneider software?
Any help / pointers appreciated.
Thanks

Hi @robort ,
If you're using this:
What you're likely doing is connecting a modbus device on one side and network on the other..
If this is the case, polling the 150 using SNMP will only provide you a little info on the gateway itself and not the connected devices. What this is designed for is to translate Modbus RTU (serial) to modbus over IP.
To monitor the devices through this gateway, you would poll the IP and secondary device(s) using modbus over IP and not using SNMP. The modbus register map would be that of the devices and not specific to the gateway.
Thanks,
Steve
