DCE - Tests
Hello people!
I`m triyng make some tests on DCE, but, i have already turned on the SNMP service on Windows 10 and make the search in ip range and specific ip on DCE, but i can`t find the component.
Anyone can help me?

Windows doesn't make a great test for this, as DCE is strongly orientated towards monitoring infrastructure, rather than being a generic NMS. I don't believe it actually ships with Device Definitions that would provide any useful datapoints from workstations, for example.
I'd strongly recommend you test monitoring the devices you intend to monitor, for the most useful results.
However, if you do need to use the Windows SNMP agent, note that its default configuration is sensibly defensive, but will require changes before you can use it:
- Start -> Run -> services.msc
- Find SNMP Service in the list, right-click & properties.
- In the security tab, at minimum you'll need to add a read-only community, and add the DCE to the list of accepted hosts.
