I am new to Struxtureware.
Taking over an existing deployment.
In this deployment, none of the non-APC equipment is having data polled.
This would seem to be an obvious thing of setting an snmp string, maybe fiddling with a genome, but there really don't seem to be any options -
These devices are listed as "uninitiated"
when I try to force communication, I get no errors telling me what is wrong.
Can someone tell me how to get non-apc equipment to function properly ?
In this case, its a couple of UPS from 2 different vendors. Struxtureware could just poll them with rfc1628, complete no brainer, it might not be everything, but better than nothing and no excuse for that not to be default on a ups.
Also can't really tell if this is a DCE question or DCO - looks like you add the stuff in DCE but the "genome" is in DCO ?
I'm sure there is logic there somewhere.
Anyway, help would be appreciated.
