email from Netbotz

Hello.

DСE has access to the mail server over a public network (Gb1). And normally sends mail. I have a problem this sending email from netbotz. Netbotz 550 connected to DCE from privet LAN (Gb2). And access to the mail server does not have. Can Netbotz send messages through the DCE? Netbotz mail settings are configured as well as on the DCE. 

I set up a post mode through the advanced view. But there is no connection with the internal and external IP DCE.

Dear Evgeniy,

Here is what I have done to receive the email from Netbotz 550 which is on Private network of DCE. 

Step 1: Ensure that the DCE Email Settings are entered correctly and email is getting passed in DCE. 

Step 2: Launch to Netbotz 550 which is on private network through DCE.

Step 3: Enter the Email Server details which are entered in DCE such as SMTP Server IP and From Email Address. And also enter the valid DNS Primary and Secondary IP addresses and Valid Domain name. 

Step 4: Click on Test E-Mail Server and see if the test email works. 

Step 5: If the Test Email Works, then you can apply the rest of the configurations on netbotz for Alert Action to receive emails based on the profile and alarm thresholds. 

Note:  I believe the above steps can also be done within DCE as well by launching the options of Netbotz appliance configuration. 

Please make sure that Netbotz Advance view path is added to DCE Client Preference to launch the Advance view through DCE.
