Ok–I looked and I can't find where to download third party DDFs. I'm not able get through my company's proxy server to grab the files using the DCE server so I'm trying to track down the APC location where I can download the files?

to obtain the DDFs, you simply call into Support at 877-908-2688 or email them at multivendorsupport@apc.com.
Support will need:
type
and
family name of product

HI Chuck Carawayand Chad Broad,
We're actively working on making the DDF experience better. Two of the things we're working on right now are 1) Providing a list of all written DDFs so that you can easily see if we've already written a DDF and just need to request the file vs requesting that we create a new one. 2) Improving the request/response/delivery system.
A longer term effort that we're working on now is to significantly expand the number of DDFs included out of the box on DCE. There are performance implications right now to having a lot of DDFs on the system, but we're hoping to get to a point where most DDFs come installed by default so you won't have to contact Schneider to get a DDF that was already written.

Apparently multivendorsupport@apc.com is no longer a valid email address.
What is the current method of obtaining updated DDF files - I am specifically requiring a DDF for Raritan PDU model PX2-2486 please?

Hi John, The Multi Vendor Support e-mail is still active, what makes you say it is no longer valid? In the very near future DDF requests will be moving to this site, but that transition has not happened yet. -Scott

When i try to send an email, outlook does a "pre fetch" and nforms me that the address is no longer valid. See attached screenshot for details.

That's pretty weird, I sent them a test e-mail right after I saw your question and it went through fine. I believe you can also e-mail multivendorsupport@apcc.com or multivendorsupport@schneider-electric.com Good Luck! Scott
