Do you know IT OPTIMIZE compatibility with windows server versions? Is it possible to install on Windows server 2012?

Dear oscar dafauce,
From Greg Sterling recent reply on page StruxureWare Data Center IT Optimize Server Requirements:
Per recent comments. ITO can be installed and run on windows 2012 and 2012 r2. It may or may not work as is on windows 2016. I'm testing a small ITO update which removes the OS restrictions and should be properly supported on windows 2012, 2012 r2 and 2016. It will also support newer CentOS and Redhat releases. It should also be much more hardened for security scanning its imbedded java will be updated and some of the older web server ciphers will be disabled.
When the update is ready for release we will update this requirements page.
I hope this is what you need.
With respect.

Correct. The current ITO release can be installed on a windows 2012 or 2012 R2 host if you run the ITO installer from a windows command window and add "–check_os_supported no" (note there are two dashes in front of the word check) on the command line.
We expect to release an updated ITO version at the end of August which will install on 2012 and 2012 R2 without having to use this workaround.
Regards
Greg Sterling

The compatibility matrix will be updated when the new ITO release is posted.
