Where does DCE 7.8 pull the information in the Hostname field from?

What field, in the UPS configuration itself, does the Hostname come from? In the Label field it shows the hostname I have set up inside the UPS --> General --> Identification tab, but the hostname never updates. I've also enabled Host Name Synchronization. If I SSH into the device, the "name" field at the top also represents the correct host name

Where does this information come from on the device? I've looked through the downloaded config file from a PDU and don't see any references to this name

Hello @4jp,

DCE uses a lookup to your defined DNS server to determine what hostname to use for that IP address.  You can find what DNS server DCE is using by going to the System menu > Server Administration Settings > Network Settings.
