Hello Daniel.
Assuming the customer has configured DCE and ITA to use SSL (port 443) then all data is encrypted in transit for both products from clients/browsers to DCE and ITA.
From DCE product management: Essentially, we commit to the protocol between client/server, server/devices, server/external systems (shares, SMTP servers, etc...).The security handbook recommends using secure protocols whenever possible (HTTPS, SNMPv3, etc...)

Data at rest for DCE and ITA (on-premise) is not encrypted except for credential information which is stored on the DCE or ITA. Credential data is encrypted at rest. Also, customers using LDAP/AD for authentication only the username is stored, the password is not stored.
