Hi Team,
Question about a text login on a webmin (v_1.740) on DCO_7.5 SP6.
I do see text login working without issues on the IE 11.0.38 which was my schneider laptop but customer only sees a blank screen (as per below) on IE 11.0.36:
This is consistent between different users in the same organisation and different DCO webmins.
Is this a problem with the version of the IE?
Could it be something with the way IE is configured at customer site? (Security settings?)
This IE version is their approved SOE so not easy to update just to fix webmin issue.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Lukasz,
it is most likely an issue with the security settings at the customer site. I believe that the remote login runs in an applet, but I literally never use this feature.
As you probably know, I recommend using putty when on a windows machine, but I am guessing that this is not an option at this point?

Thanks Fredrik,
It most likely is the security but it would be great to have a working example of text login in an IE version in question...
In regards to the putty option...yep not allowed unfurtunatelly...
Thanks again

Hi Lukasz,
I realize that TextLogin has gained a bit of traction, and I certainly see why ... from our side, it has always been more of a "happy coincidence"... it is maintained as a webmin plugin and it seems that the project it is based on has gone stale a while back...
You have probably already determined that an alternate browser is also not an option?
can you share a bit of details on what you need to do on the server? (perhaps there is an alternate route)
BR
Fredrik

Hi Fredrik,
Actually a different browser does work OK (Chrome) but it is not customer's SOE.
I will send you a quick direct email with more details on that particular project we are planning to use text login for but in general I have already set the scene with customer and should be ok.
