Or is there any way I can review decommissioned/removed items, for auditing and property control purposes?
That way we can review old items, asset tag numbers, etc. and see at what point it was removed from our room.

Hi Austin
I assume you're referring to DCO
I recommend not deleting assets, rather move them to a dedicated DCO room (or rooms depending on your need) called something like Decommissioned, Old Assets, Sold, Destroyed or the like. You don't need to have racks in the room (so this solution doesn't use any DCO licenses) and you can use the "New Store Room" option by right clicking on any DCO Location.
Also, again depending on the need, a Change Request might be created to "decommission" each asset, great for tracking details and/or only selected staff can move assets to this room, i.e. write permission to the room, whilst all or many other staff could have read only access. These assets will then appear in the DCO API and Export DB/s
I hope that helps
Cheers

We need this too.
Both stages, first the "decommission" then "disposed" once the equipment has left the premises.
Adding this feature would go a long way in tracking the life cycle of the equipment-
