Uploading backup file in webmin

HI Jef Faridi

I'm trying to upload the backup file via webmin and its taking too much of time

the first stuck was when in choose file option i selected the .tar file it took 20 minutes to display that file and the second step when i clicked on the upload tab the upload status bar was completed successfully quickly but now it gets stuck on the same page and if you check below on the page it says waiting for then the IP and it doesn't redirects to the next page where you can see upload to the server is complete and successful its been almost half an hour now its stuck here.

could you please tell me what could be the reason where is the issue exactly ?

Regards

Hi Wassem,

I guess you might have a very large backup file - so instead of web browser I would try using file transferring tools such as WinSCP. WinSCP is a free and open-source tool, that can be downloaded from internet/https://winscp.net.

Kind regards
