Unable to perform SNMP updates on devices with AOS 6.x.x

Hi,

 

I am running Struxureware Data Center Expert to monitor and managed our APC devices.  The APC SNMP configuration feature is used update setting on our devices.  All other devices with AOS lower than v6.x.x work normally and as expected.   However, devices with AOS v6.x.x do not accept these settings.   

 

I checked the credentials between DCE and the devices and they are good.   Is this a known issue with the newer AOS?   Appreciate if anyone can provide a resolution or work-around, other than manually uploading the new config these devices.

 

DCE Info:

Client Build: 7.2.1.53

Server Build: 7.2.1.53

Hi Loh,

 

There are issues with SNMP mass configuration at this time with FW 6.x.x. This is expected to be fixed in a future release. 

The KBase FA156117 lists another method to do this without DCE.

Are there more details on the root cause of this issue, as it seems some 6.x.x devices are still working with mass push and others do not? We already have over 1,500 devices at 6.x.x and it would be very helpful to understand the specific conditions of which cause the failure, so as to know which could still be mass updated vs. not.
