Hi,
Good day. I have my existing Data Center and I want to know my PUE (Power Usage Efficiency). Do you have any information or standards on how to compute the PUE for every Data Center Infrastructure (i.e. UPS, Cooling, PDUs...). I was just wondering how will I be able to compute my UPS's electrical consumption so with my cooling unit. I'm using a 48kW All-in-One Symmetra PX and an InRow DX Type, 600mm cooling unit. Hope you can help me with this. Your response is very much appreciated.
Thanks,
Romeo

Hi Romeo,
Calculating PUE is basically confined by the kind of capture points you have, not only limited to power or cooling, but there can be many environmental factors such as infiltration, inside bulb temperatures etc..
There can be Guidelines/Recommendations but no standards for calculating PUE. We have captured guidelines on how to calculate PUE in our whitepapers, following is one of them. However, a document from www.thegreengrid.org also happens to be helpful to your query. Please follow:

Hope this helps. Please comment for any more queries. Thanks.

Hi Romeo, If you have Symmetra & InRow units, you should be able to capture the parameters you are asking for from PME(as the query is tagged with PME) or DCE. Both DCO & PME for DC are able to give you PUE calculation capabilities.
