Dear Team,
I am trying to get symmetra MW sensor value like voltage, amp, watts . I already put the new DDF of MW. (I think problem in DDF because DDF is Modbus and MW is SNMP)
On SNMPv1 device communication is good but not open in internal and external browser and no sensor value.
DCE version is 7.2.6 for more information see the attached screenshots.
BR,
Ajmal
No Sensor Value:
Modbus TCP
If I use Modbus TCP then Device goes offline
SNMPv1:

Hi Rana,
You would need the latest modbus DDF for the Symmetra unit which you can get from multivendorsupport@apcc.com.
You would also need to invest in the TSXETG100 Modbus RS485/Modbus TCP gateway, as DCE only supports the Modbus TCP/IP protocol.

Hi Rana,
The best way to monitor a Symmetra MW is with Modbus not SNMP. With SNMP, you are only going to see the link status.
For the JAVA issue, can you advise what JAVA version you are using please? I am guessing it is JAVA 1.8. Can you please confirm? There is a known issue with JAVA 1.8 and it will be fixed in a future display release. The workaround for JAVA 1.8 is as follows:
"Issue
The issues is cause by a change in the security rules in Java 1.8 and it is preventing the Remote display from communicating with the system when it is launched in a browser with Java 1.8_0_20 installed.
Work around
Customer should not upgrade to Java 1.8 if the wish to user the remote display or they can add a security exception as out lined below to the Java policy file and replace
java.net.SocketPermission"

Breda
