Struxureware BMS smtp configuration (email notifications)

I have one query, one of our customer are using Struxureware BMS and they have one small requirement they want us to configure there smtp (email) in the system for notification and alarms. Do you have any idea how to configure the smtp (email) in  Struxureware BMS ?

For BMS, have a look in community & knowledge base for SBO / EBO under

Not familiar with the BMS configuration.

Highly recommend you consult the guide or contact product support on how to configure SMTP, as well as email recipients for alarm, as place for configuration may vary based on version as well.

If you have access to the system, clicking on help should bring up the help manual as well.

Example in EBO, there is a tab for SMTP setup, which I think is different with SBO.

We almost have the same setup as shown in the pic above

I just need to confirm What details we have to enter in general email settings ?

and what details we have to enter in Primary email server settings ?

because we have the same setup for email configuration

Glad that can be of help.

For sender email address,i.e what email the system will be sending as.

Under primary,the usual smtp details like ip,login details to use the smtp to send email,porte for smtp etc.

Both depends on your customer setup,as smtp n email sender will be by them.

Also, recommend to post on the other forum for SBO,as you'll have the SBO experts there.
