Hello,
I have a customer which has Liebert CRACs & Liebert UPS systems. They would like to send the alarm information from Data Center Expert to a BACnet BMS system. Would this be accomplished by using the Data Center Expert Modbus TCP Output Module?
Thank you!

Hi Paul,
The Modbus output module allows external systems to monitor up to 247 devices as Modbus slave devices from DCE. This is Modbus only so your Bacnet system would need to be able to also monitor Mosbus or your customer would need some type of gateway that would be capable of the translation. We don't have any option specific to Bacnet on the DCE output.

I would like to offer a solution to achieve the same which we have implemented at client site. We had some SNMP devices polled into SXW DCE which the client wanted to transfer to BACNET, We initiated an AUTOMATION server Integration which helped us in polling all information from DCE into AS and from AS we can easily convert the Modbus data into BACNET and transfer it back to other system. We have also done other conversions where client had all data available in Third Party systems in BACNET and we wanted to show all of that in DCE over Modbus here we converted BACNET data to Modbus TCP and transferred it back to DCE.
