Schnieder Continuum Access Control with DCIM

one of our customer has installed continuum access control system in the Data center and they want to integrate it with DCIM. they want to get door status right from DCIM window. can you please help us how we can integrate it?

Hi John,

There is no direct integration between the Continuum Access Control system and StruxureWare DCE at this time. Page 79 of the manual you have provided indicates that the system does support SNMP. Multivendorsupport@apcc.com can create DDFs for most any SNMP based device. I'm searching for a MIB for this system and I will see if I can find contact info to get it but if you have the MIB already, you can contact multivendorsupport@apcc.com to get a DDF created.

Agree with Steven's response. You can take the door attribute and mirror to a point in the Netcontroller; not sure if the ACX will do SNMP. Create an alarm on the value of that attribute, (Forced, Ajar, etc.). Trap the alarm with SNMP and DCE may pick it up. This will have to be tested for validity.

Hi John,

I contacted support for Continuum and they said:

Our MIBS are located on our website however your customer must be an approved Andover Continuum distributor to access this site.  If this is the end user they will need to contact who installed the Continuum system to get to the MIBS.
